Youths Sets Police Station Ablaze Over Alleged Shooting Of Undergraduate By Sars

It has just been reported that Irate youths in Iwo, Osun State, have set a police station ablaze in the town for the alleged shooting of an undergraduate named, Tunde Nofiu, by an officer attached to the Special Anti Robbery Squad.

Nofiu who was said to be spending his holiday in the town was going to Iwo from Olupona on Thursday night when he met his untimely death and the incident invariably leading to a protest that led the youths of Iwo to set a Police station in the town ablaze.

Though the name of the school of the deceased is yet to be ascertained, it was gathered that the youths of the town gathered and set ablaze the police station on Friday morning.
