The Late  Former Vice President of Nigeria, Dr Alex Ifeanyichukwu Ekwueme, popularly described by many as the "Selfless Statesman" was laid to rest on the 2nd of February, 2018 at his hometown in Oko, Anambra state.

Weeks after the successful funeral ceremony, His son, Apostle Goodheart Ekwueme who is the Apostolic Leader of Revival House of Glory International Church, RHOGIC Abuja sent out a short video message of appreciation to all who honoured the late Selfless Statesman through their prayers, support and physical attendance of the burial.
