Manchester United Signs Matic From Chelsea

Nemanja Matic has completed his move from Chelsea to Manchester United in a deal worth £40m and has also signed a 3-year deal with the English giants.

The 28-year old becomes the club’s third signing of the transfer window after
the acquisition of Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku form Benfica and Everton respectively.

The Serbian will join up with his former boss, Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

Mourinho described Matic to be a team player who has everything he wants in a footballer such as loyalty, consistency and ambition.

Speaking about the move Matic said, "To work with Jose Mourinho once again was an opportunity I couldn't turn down.

I have enjoyed my time at Chelsea and would like to thank the club and the fans for their support. I cannot wait to meet my new team-mates and to start training with them."

The Serbia international went on to say that he is delighted to be joining Manchester united at an exciting time.
