Rooney To Sign For Everton As He Arrives For Medicals

England and Manchester united captain, Wayne Rooney on Saturday arrived Everton training ground ahead of his medicals as he moves close to completing a switch back to the club he left as teenager.

The United captain fell out favour at Old trafford and had limited game time last
season under manager Jose Mourinho. This also cost him a place in Gareth Southgate's England squad.

The all time United top scorer therefore will make his way back to the merseyside after 13 seasons at Old trafford where he went on to become a club legend.

Rooney’s career has been a successful one as he has won the Champions League, the Europa League, Premier league, FIFA Club world cup, F.A cup, carling cup.

If Rooney signs for Everton he will become Ronald Koeman's sixth signing so far in the transfer window.
