Global Rights Nigeria Partners With Other Relevant Bodies To Launch For Victims Of Sexual Violence

Global Rights Nigeria, a non-profit organization founded on the ideals of a just society for all, built on the universal principles of Human Rights and guaranteed by access to justice.

The organization in partnership with other relevant bodies such as the Nigeria Police Force, Dorothy Njemanze Foundation, National Human Rights Commission etc launched on the 23rd, June 2017, a website that provides immediate help
and support to victims of any form of sexual violence called

Global Rights Sexual Violence Survivors Support Program, provides support across Nigeria by connecting survivors of sexual violence to individuals and organizations who volunteer their time, resources, and expertise to provide medical, legal, and psycho-social support to survivors of sexual violence. 

Its core objective is to create a community of support for individuals and families impacted by sexual violence and to ensure survivor-centered responses in the intra-agency linkages providing services to survivors.

For the past few years, Global Rights has undertaken a campaign to build a survivor-centered response matrix for sexual violence under its Security and Human Rights Program. A core learning of this project is the lack of adequate support systems to provide holistic care for victims and their families, hence the need to build a community of support through the volunteer response program -
