President Buhari Makes It To Jama’at Prayers Amidst Health Concerns

Less than 48 hours after missing the Federal Executive Council meeting, President Buhari made it to the jama’at prayers at Abuja on Friday.The president was seen at the mosque with fellow Muslim brothers.  

The growing health concerns of the president raised questions amongst Nigerians who suggested that his consistent absence in crucial meetings is not normal but, video highlights showed that the president indeed walked himself to the mosque and was also seen greeting fellow Muslim after the prayers.

The president having missed the FEC meeting on Thursday, was advised to proceed on a medical leave in order to attend to his health issues by 13 activists which included Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana.

Also this has backed up claims by First Lady, Aisha Buhari that the President’s health issues is not as bad as perceived insisting that the President is carrying out his responsibilities while giving ears to the doctor’s orders.

Also to backup claims of an improvement in health, , the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami; the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Maikanti Baru; and the Central Bank Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, all said they held meetings separately with him this week.
