Abuja Enterprise Agency is Organizing A Six Day Expo For SMEs

Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) is the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) vehicle for SME development, employment generation, wealth creation and poverty reduction is organizing an Expo tagged “Promoting SMEs for Economic Development” which will be a platform for SMEs with good local content to showcase their products and advertise their services to the general public, while expanding their market base and exploring new opportunities.

The expo is scheduled to commence on the 14th through to the 19th of November 2016 at the "Exhibition Pavilion", Opposite Radio House, Area 10, Garki Abuja. Business owners are encouraged to book for exhibition space at a stated fee which comes with benefits.

Objectives of this year's Expo are:

Interlink Businesses: AEA in collaboration with relevant stakeholders through this Expo is expected interlink about 300 businesses within and outside the FCT and expose them to potential partners and interested investors.

Membership Promotion: Participants of the Abuja SME Expo can join an association of the same industry or region so as to participate in other exhibitions to promote their products and services in a unified group.

Networking and awareness Promotion: The Abuja SME Expo is aimed at raising clients’ profiles and for networking with similar organizations in other parts of the country/world. It will provide a very useful platform for an association to meet and explore co-operative exchanges and activities with counterparts in other states/countries.

Access to Business Development Service Providers (BDSPs): The exhibition is aimed at providing excellent Business Development Service to all businesses (startups and existing), and intending entrepreneurs.

Marketing/Export Window for Members: The exhibition is aimed at providing excellent opportunity for clients to meet prospective foreign buyers and to sell their products internationally.

Exploring the market and observing the trends: Information sharing and gathering, e.g., keeping abreast of product and industry innovations, knowing what competitors do, learning latest sales and promotion techniques.
