Federal Government Condemns The Killing Of Nigerian Teen In UK

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, has condemned the gruesome stabbing to death of 17 year old, Fola Orebiyi, in the UK. In a statement, Mrs Abike Dabiri described the death as another extra judicial killing of Nigerian citizens in the UK, which is becoming worrisome. She called for full investigation of the incident and called on the UK government to make sure that justice prevails. She also prayed that God give the family the fortitude to bear the painful loss.

The Nigerian teenager had been stabbed to death on sunday after being chased by a gang of youths on bicycles in Notting Hill, west London.
The 6th form boy who had been attacked in Portobello Road at around 8.45pm last night, after witnesses said a fight had broken out nearby. He collapsed just two doors down from the shop unit which featured in the 1999 Hugh Grant film Notting Hill, and he was
pronounced dead at the scene.
