DR Congo Defeat Mali To Win CHAN 2016

DR Congo became the first team to win two African Nations Championship titles, after their yesterday's 3 - 0 win against Mali in the 2016 final, at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Sunday.

The Leopards who won the first edition of the tournament in Ivory Coast in 2009, put in a dominant performance against the Malians, to claim the trophy again.
Mechak Elia scored a brace, while Jonathan Bolingi also got a goal for DR Congo.
DR Congo’s outstanding performance ensured the side a clean sheet on the night lifting the CHAN trophy without conceding a goal in the final.
