Watch Video: Sustainable Development Goals Nigeria & What You Must Know About Them

A new Nigeria is not only possible, a new Nigeria is here. Your role and my own role is crucial at putting our government at all levels to work at an unusual speed.

In the video above,
I was asked to summarize the entire event. What event you may ask, the "Sustainable Development Goals Nigeria" #SDGsNG Youth Meet Up organized by DEAN Initiative and supported by DMDInitiatives which held on the 22nd of September at Thoughts Pyramid Art Center Wuse 2 Abuja. I, Naijacynth anchored this youth engaging and enlightening event. Meanwhile, Did you follow up discussions at the United Nations General Assembly week in New York? Do you know the 17 Sustainable Development Goals #SDGs listed by the United Nations and your part to play to ensure we achieve these goals in Nigeria? (If you do not have an idea please google it). These and more were discussed in a break out session of the Youth Meet up.

The Nigeria SDGs Youth Network is not a propaganda. They are not seeking popularity or financial favour. As a matter of fact, They are expending their hard earned resources to the entire advocacy activities. What they want is simple; for the first time in Nigeria, create a national Youth voice that will be known as one and that will reflect selflessness. A youth Vanguard that will send waves across the land for result oriented governance, and they have found the newly adopted Global Goals #SDGs as a uniting point for Actions.
At the moment, many States have shown interest through few individuals who have voluntarily registered to act as state Coordinators.

After the SDGsNG Flag Off in Abuja, the formation of Nigeria SDGs Youth Network commenced and work has begun. You can't be left out of our national development, not even now that visible changes are wavering at us.
"Let's continue interacting and ask helpful questions. Few States have started work on their Flag off events. Let's unite to succeed in this common goal" says Michael Semiye of DEAN Initiative. See event photos below
