The first course of the menu of tyranny that awaits Nigerians under the reign of APC was served on Monday when thugs descended on Dan Ulasi ,a former chairman of PDP in Anambra state as he left the studio of Channels Television in Lagos.
Ulasi had appeared on “Election Watch” anchored by Chamberlain Uso where he expressed views critical of the former military dictator and Presidential Candidate of the APC,General Muhamadu Buhari.
An APC operative,Dele Alake was on set after him to made vitriolic attacks against President Goodluck Jonathan.
Ulasi in a phone conversation with NP from an unnamed hospital where he is being treated said the thugs descended on him as he walked out of the station and made for his car.
“They pounced on me as I was about stepping into the car and beat me blue and black .They told me they came for me because I criticized Buhari. They tore my clothe and dragged me on the floor with bruises on my hand. They did not let me go until I was beaten to their hearts content.I have never seen that kind of dare devilry in my life. I am taking care of myself presently”.
Forty eight hours after the incident, Channels TV where the National Leader of APC, Bola Tinubu, bought 40% equity recently has not reported this assault on its guest from APC thugs .
The APC a few days back pulled out of the presidential debates on the allegation that some of the organizers of the debates work for media who had aired reports that were critical of Buhari, a clear signal of the intolerant disposition of the ” change agents “
