Pastor Dunamis Okunowo: Between Jonathan/Sambo and Buhari/Osinbajo: Which Should I Vote

As a child of God, you have the responsibility to vote at the forthcoming election. Your vote counts. You remember the principle of Jesus leaving ninety-nine sheep to look for one? You are just one person, but the reality is that your vote counts, and your singular vote can make a lot of difference.

I don’t really understand believers who speak in tongues and then will refuse to fulfill their
civic responsibilities.

Have you gotten you PVC? Make sure you do by all means. I am yet to get mine, I have been to INEC office, but by all means, I will get it before that day!

But Pastor, I don’t know who to vote for! Well, that shouldn’t be an excuse, you are not suppose to sit at the fence, because whichever leader emerges will certainly not keep you seated on the fence. It is either you are thanking God for the leader or praying that God should remove the leader quickly.

God is certainly interested in who emerges eventually.
By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. (Proverbs 8:15 KJV)

God then leads you by placing a desire or a particular choice or party in your mind. Follow your heart. Of course, your choice is then influenced by facts, performance, and even by propaganda and all that.

And then you need to keep a sharp eye out for competent men––men who fear God, men of integrity, men who are incorruptible––and appoint them as leaders… (Exodus 18:21 Message)

On KHC, we have close two million page views every month. Yesterday, alone we had a page view of over 46,000. So, I am not about to tell you who to vote for! I don’t think I am supposed to influence your decision in that wise. I don’t think any Pastor should use his platform to violate the conscience of his members and influence their choice!

Do your research. Look at the facts on ground.
President Jonathan calls his campaign strategy Evidence Campaign. Buhari and Osinbajo says they are bringing change. So ask yourself, is the evidence on ground weighty enough to warrant continuity? Those that want to bring change, would they really effect changes?

The political process of the country amazes me? I see how people gallivant between parties after horse-trading and exchanges of millions of dollars that belongs to the state!

I don’t really blame them! An average person is just looking for his own piece of National Cake! And you see, ask yourself sincerely, assuming you are for change, and then evidence transfers a hundred million naira into your account, will you still sing for change? Won’t you see evidence in your account as the real deal?
