On the 22nd June 2015, the idea of a more united and prosperous new Nigeria was initiated, leading to a conceptual depiction of a New Nigeria which is being expressed by the Nigeria Rebirth Art Piece, which is the biggest Unity Art Work in Africa.


Drawing of the Art Piece, which lasted for 100 days, was painted by 37 artists that represent
the 36 states of Nigeria and the FCT. The Art Piece initiated by the Cabinet X Africa Initiative and creatively drawn with the collaboration of Federal Ministry of Information and Culture and the National Gallery of Art

It may also interest you to know that President Muhammadu Buhari is be the 38th artist of this National Rebirth Art Project; by finally signing on the art piece. This Art symbolizes Nigerians renewed commitment to nation building, emphasis made on the strength of our nation and the release of potentials in our people so that Nigeria can fly again.

The Nigeria Rebirth Art project is not just an art piece; but a new ideological framework that will transform and strengthen homes, offices, schools, institutions and the nation as a whole and thereby enhancing our economic, socio-political, security and international outlook.” Said the National Coordinator, Nigeria Rebirth art project-Comrade Isaac Balami at the unveiling ceremony which took place March 17th, 2016 at the Banquet Hall Presidential Villa, Abuja.
