Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child of the late singer Whitney Houston, died Sunday, almost six months after she was found unconscious in a bathtub, in a similar fashion to the way her superstar mother died in 2012. Bobbi was just 22.The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office announced that an autopsy would be conducted to determine what led to Bobbi's death.
Her Father R&B singer Bobby Brown, came into the spotlight on 1993 with star hits like "Running Man" and was married to Whitney Houston until her death on the eve of the 2012 Grammy Awards. Whitney's death was ruled an accidental drowning in a bathtub with cocaine and heart disease listed as contributing factors.
Bobbi never regained consciousness to explain what happened before she was found Jan. 31, face down and unconscious in her bathtub.
The Houston family released a statement confirming the death: "Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July 26 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."
As Bobbi Kristina would say: 'The wind is behind me and the sun is in my face."
Rest In Peace Bobbi
